How frequently will the blog be updated during the race? Can we follow the progress of specific competitors? I'm particularly interested in the Midshipmen from US Naval Academy.

It sounds like a wonderful adventure. I hope all of the participants have a safe and successful journey.

We don't have good internet access. I am just on-line now for the first time. It will be sporadic updates only.
Blaine Tonking dropped before the first check point Gateway as he was sick.
Other runners were not in yet at 1:30pm. 4 bikers just came into Elephant lake at 3pm. Fast!!
