Special!!: 1st overall runner and 1st overall cyclist receive Free Paid Guaranteed Entry to Alaska Grandaddy of Ultra's....2014 Iditarod Trail Invitational (non-transferable and must be used 2014). This is worth ~$1000.

"Ernest Shackleton Endurance" Award recognizing the racer (must be official finisher) who remains on the course, making forward progress for the longest period of time. This does not include checkpoint time and in the spirit of perseverance, fortitude, steadfastness and bravery would exemplify the miraculous 1914 Shackleton Expedition.
