To get the group rate: go to the International Falls AmericInn website , view room and rates click "More", click on Change Itinerary:...then enter the dates of the rates (nights of 01/26 and or 01/27/12 and enter block code "arrowh0113" and hit search.  Room type will come up, hit select, then the system will bring you to the place where you enter your personal information to make the reservation.

Or mention Arrowhead 135 rate if you reserve by phone. This is a bit more expensive than last year but the hotel has upgraded their furnishings and that's the best rate we can do.. .........  . .

Have same hospitality room as previous, mention Arrowhead 135 and room rates at Fortune somewhere in $60-$70 range. Showers/sauna open all night for us.  Rooms are very nice here, get one to crash after you finish. Fortune Bay has been a great host and friend of race so rather than pull zombie drive home, why not get a room.  You can gamble and smoke and stuff here too!

Good restaurant and we will have some minor post-race hangout food/drinks also.

New race supporter in Orr, Minnesota, about 50 minutes south along Highway 53/Arrowhead Trail from International Falls.  They offer Arrowhead racers a nice rate in suite w/fireplace, jacuzzi  and fridge for $70/nite. Mention Arrowhead 135 when you make reservations.  Bigger 3-room suites a little more.  They are sponsoring some Arrowhead prizes this year so give them some business!  Dining room and bar. This is the previous nice AmericInn site up on the hill just north of town.

Voyageur Motel: Nice clean rooms, very near start IN I-FALLS.  Gerald at Voyageur has helped us out significantly with lodging and helping transport racers over the years and giving them lots of business is highly recommended.  Rates are posted on website, about $50/two beds.  Close to start and Pre-Race Meeting. Doesn't get anymore convenient.

 MelGeorges Resort, Elephant Lake, MN Tel. 1-800-205-9001 (Main Checkpoint at Race Mid-Point)  Lodge rooms or lovely cabins available to rent.  Key spot mid-race, owners Carla and Steve have been instrumental in keeping the Arrowhead going with hospitality and friendliness.  Talk to Carla about maybe sharing cabin/room with other racers interested in same.  Great bar/restaurant and race viewing.
